Just so I can get my facts (piss taking) straight, where does Utd's 2012 league collapse fit in with the all time PL record of such things - did they actually 'do a Newcastle' in a bigger way than Newcastle did?
Also, was this years title defence the shittest ever in the PL?

Blackburn were the worst but only just. They won it with 89 points and came 7th the following season with 61. The rags won it with 89 and came 7th with 64.

I still think our defence after winning the first divison in 1934, (and seeing the rags relegated, just to ice the cake), and then going down ourselves as champions the season after, despite scoring more goals than anyone else in the league, takes some beating.
