Just so I can get my facts (piss taking) straight, where does Utd's 2012 league collapse fit in with the all time PL record of such things - did they actually 'do a Newcastle' in a bigger way than Newcastle did?
Also, was this years title defence the shittest ever in the PL?
Blackburn were the worst but only just. They won it with 89 points and came 7th the following season with 61. The rags won it with 89 and came 7th with 64.

I still think our defence after winning the first divison in 1934, (and seeing the rags relegated, just to ice the cake), and then going down ourselves as champions the season after, despite scoring more goals than anyone else in the league, takes some beating.
If anything epitomises the roller coaster that is watching Manchester City, then it's this.

We won the league in 1937. It was the FA Cup we won in 1934.

My bad - you're right - it was '37/'38 when we achieved this seemingly impossible feat.

Can you imagine what this place would have been like if Bluemoon had been around then?

Suffice to say you moderators would be on overtime, and half the Matchday forum would be on suicide watch.

Sad caf transfer forum is well worth spending 10 mins in a joy to behold. They are fucking besides themselves, from Kroos, Muller, Robben Fabregas to McCarthy and boy do they rate Gervinho.

Can't believe it's not even June yet, and it looks like we already need to start a list of failed rag 'transfer targets.'
When do they have to renew their season tickets by?

so no robben , kroos , Muller and now Konoplyanka

all transfer "stalled" not "snubbed" !! mind you

Cements the point about 'Tick Tock'. I remember many on here saying it would never happen.

Mid-table team in need of major work, past his sell-by date Foreign Manager, players varying from World Class to average turning them down, good chance of falling out of Pot 1 in the CL if they even qualify , Uncle Malc probably can't afford to sell them and there's more to come.
