The Mirror, surprisingly, have written quite a scathing article about the bid
Just read that and credit where credit's due. Let's see if this rank hypocrisy gets the wider coverage it merits.

Let's see if he gets asked about it at his weekly press conference
I'm willing to wager one shiny penny the answer is no.

Yep, I take back what I said earlier but this needs jumping on by more media outlets.

Thing is, I'm not really arsed about United's involvement in all this. They don't owe Everton anything in terms of favours and loyalty. It's Moyes that's the issue here and his rank hypocrisy coupled with him pissing all over the club he spent the vast majority of his managerial career with.

Who said the following? "Everton sell very expensively. That's what we do.

"We don't sell cheap because that is why he is on a five-year deal and the chairman looks after the players and gives them what he can. So he is not for sale."

Well, it was a certain Manchester United manager David Moyes in 2011 while he was in charge at Everton and in response to Leighton Baines being linked with a move to Liverpool

Well said and I totally agree. united owe nothing to Everton, although one would hope their enduring commitment to doing things with "class" and "dignity": aka " the united way" (TM Sir Bobby) would temper their behaviour sufficiently to give Everton little cause for concern.

Apparently .... according to my not at all entitled rag brother .... "we helped them out with P Neville, Saha, Howard, and Gibson, when they were skint. Plus we paid top dollar for Rooney 9 years ago. they owe us."

Like I said not at all entitled.

Rare but welcome visit to the obsessives thread for you, Billy ;-)

Everton fans are incensed by classless United's derisory offer, not only because it's derisory (the new buzzword) but because it can unsettle players with the season just starting - especially the moody Fellaini. Moyes: "Everton don't sell cheap".

Always like to see what type of regurgitated, repetitive, ran it's course a week ago, stuff you're all obsessing about ... :)
