My concern is Moyes will do so badly that they will have no choice but to make an early change. We need him there for the long run, so a slight improvement wouldn't go amiss.

I've been supporting United for longer than most of you have been alive and I'll stick with my team. Yes, it is tough to swallow our form at the moment but no matter I'm in it for life.
do you fly over every week?
must cost a fortune

Yes, it can be a bit dear but it is the price of living in the land of sunshine.

You live in Iraq?

For me the players have already lost faith with Gollum, watched the second half of their game on Saturday and you could see with especially 15 mins left, a goal down at home, they weren't really bothered. Even the teams at the bottom of the league have a go last 15 if they are getting beat, especially at home, may as well lose 2 or 3 nil than defend a one goal deficit.

They just plodded around at the same (slow) tempo, didn't even start knocking balls in to the box late on, even in the last minute when Newcastle were time wasting in the corner they hardly put a foot in when in that position you usually see a defender going through someone and putting them on their arse. They just accepted it and trudged off the pitch as if it was expected.

Even if they go on a decent run now for me all faith in Moyes has gone, even teams going through a poor run show a bit of fire in their belly, the most amusing and satisfying thing is they are shite and don't seem particularly bothered about it either!
They are bothered, they're just petrified and devoid of confidence

Had they fluked a goal somehow, then you'd have seen the quality of their play jump several levels, and their passing would all of a sudden been so much quicker

Just a couple more defeats and their hopes for the top 4 will be gone too.

Their next 4 prem fixtures including a trip to Stoke in the LC:

Aston Villa - A
WHU - H
Hull City -A
Norwich - A

These are the games the Rags of last season would win comfortably.
Thanks for that.

Based on the how they look completely lost at present, i'd predict:
Loss
Win
Loss
Win

2 losses will put them right out of the race, probably even for top 4.

With the point's gap, they're not the issue anymore. The issue is whether you and Chelsea can keep the top of the table out of reach, and also whether we, Everton, Spurs and Arsenal can keep 4th at least six points away.

If teams are dropping points, not winning away games, etc, then no matter how bad they are doing then they remain in with a shout. Basically it's on everyone else to do their job and for the love of god to not choke.

It would present 2 questions though;
1. Who would go there?
2. Why would they if they see how the Glazer's treat a manager who doesn't get it exactly right first time?

I think they will stick with him unless they get relegated.

I think this is the key point. Numerous times on saturday Jones or Cleverly (and to a lesser extent Januzzi) picked the ball up from the center halves looked around for options concluded nothing 'safe' was on and either passed the ball square or backwards. Each time this happened the crowd groaned or booed the players genuinely looked scared and didnt want the ball.
