It's all well and good taking the mick out of United, but I hate to keep saying it, but it's not a good idea to take the jokes too seriously, because the demise is not going to last long.

To sound risk sounding like Yoda, "Do not underestimate the dark side of Manchester."

City are the only team in the league too good for them and the only team that can put on a run and leave them in a dust. Sadly they can easily go on a huge run and get something like 27/33 points. If City play properly then there is nothing to worry about, because you will walk the league, but they are still going to be there or there about with the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal.

Nope. They are simply not good enough.
The sad thing is they are. The likes of Young, Valencia etc are not good enough to compete against City and the elite of football, but they are more than good enough to beat up on the rest of the league.

I look at this forum and constantly see post like "this team is awful or that team should not be in the premiership etc". The truth is that is the quality of the Premiership. United don't play City every weak and they can put out two teams good enough to beat anyone below 7th really.

There little unbeaten run who have they actually played? They will be battling for fourth spot if they are lucky

The point is, who is there to play? The league is not made up of Barcelona's, Bayerns and Man City's. It is made up of Palace's, Norwich's, Sunderland's, Hull's etc.

The Christmas period also favours those with big squads.

Who have they lost to at home that Was unheard of under bacon? Every time I watch them they look like midtable team at best

They won't. Against the ''run of the mill'' PL teams, they'll win 18 or 19 times outof every twenty games they play. Like us, they'll have the odd unexplainable result; it's against the ''better'' sides that they'll struggle this season (particularly on the road).

That's a big ask pal.

I absolutely echo your sentiments Supercrystal7, Ushited can't compete with us directly - our players man for man shit all over them - and for once since watching City since 84/85 they are scared to play us and every one of our starting 11 is superior to theirs BUT like he said - they don't play us every week. The rags are more than capable of beating most - if not all - of the teams placed 6th to 20th, they may have lost Baconface but they are still Ushited - they won the league last year (although I believe we threw it away more than they won it) and still have good players. I don't think they'll be a threat this year but like a fucking wasp I do think they'll be buzzing around for a little while yet.

Just a realist.

On the plus side unless they fluke another Ronaldo transfer they should not be winning trophies with Moyes in charge and the current state of things for the next few years.
