We won the League when the difference was 8 points with 6 games to play.

The difference now between United and the top is 8 points with 21 games left to play.


It is too early to write them off.

Difference then was we were second they were top and as you state we made 8 points up in 6 games with the added advantage of having to play them at home.

Now they have to hope the Gooners, Chelski, Bin Dippers and us fook up, and that doesn't even take into account the blue bin dippers.

Or the Saints and Barcodes. The title is out of the question for them, the worry here is that they can still sneak fourth which they and the media would lord as a victory just as much as the title. I bet if they get fourth the smugness from their fans and the media will be more than for whichever team actually wins the title.

The good news is it's not in their hands, hopefully at least *some* of the teams above them now stay steady.
