lo betide anyone that beats them in this years CL. they will be investigated to death and will have anything from anywhere dug up to throw them out and reinstate the cash cow.

They simply must qualify for the CL next year, and it wouldn't surprise me in the least if they were somehow able to win it, thereby doing their "Derby" rivals out of a place next year (Liverpool that is!) Watch out for dodgy decisions and favourable CL draws over the next few months!

There is zero chance of the rags getting to the final let alone winning it, they are simply not good enough in every department. Sleep easy mate, they wont win it and wont make top 4..!

Dennis Irwin: "David Moyes is going to build something special at ManUtd. The plans for new players are staggering and very exciting".
He must have fished Noel Gallagher's napkin out of the bin.

exactly what I was thinking!

Hope you're right mate - a lot of sleeps left before the end of the season!

Daily Mail headline- hahaha expect a 15m offer for both then

EXCLUSIVE: Juve stay cool as Moyes plans sensational double raid for Pogba and Vidal
Haha! That's even stretching it for United.

I reckon Vidal is currently the best midfield player in the world. And Pogba isn't half bad neither. So i can see a £14.2m bid for Vidal and a £12.5m bid for Pogba with the line "they'll be coming to play for the biggest club in the world" line from Bobby Charlton popping up at some point.
In reality to buy them both you are talking £70 million also asking Juventus to end themselves as a decent force in European football and for some strange reason I just cant see it happening

When they don't get 4th the team that get it will be deducted points for one reason or a another.

Reason for deducted points here

What makes them think Pogba will even consider going back to them after the way he exited and the comments made by baconface when he left.

Juve are storming Serie A at the moment and they seem to think juves best 2 midfielders are going to be a) allowed to leave and b) will want to leave.

Juve would want, probably, £80m for the pair with Pogba being £30m easily having won European 'golden boy' this year. Sucks to be them, letting Europes best under-21 player leave on a free......................hahahahaha

Pirlo nearly finished as well so that would leave them needing to replace their entire midfield as marrone doesn't look in the same class and it would be hard for juve to do that with 80m...

Maybe I am missing something here.....

But why would Pogba return to them after leaving in the first place ?

Is he unsettled in Italy ? Missing the Manchester weather ? Or does he have a bird from Beswick that he needs to get back to ? Coz it can't be to play for the team that wouldn't play him 2 seasons ago and decided a retired scholes was a better option can it ???

Short term management from pishcan. he should have been blooding Pogba then and they would not be in the mess they are....but oh no he was more concerned with putting one over City with short term options such as RVP and scholes and Giggs than building a team/squad to be handed over to next manager.....

Not that them lot will ever see that....

Reap what you sow ....

Ps...these are 2 players we should be in for, but with our track record of signings from Serie A I would be inclined to stay clear and get from La Liga !

Have a feeling Pogba won't go back as well, it must be something to do with all the stronger clubs that would quite happily take him....

I will be very surprised if United get anyone of note. The Glazer wont spend to get all the players they need to become a force again, which will stop top quality individuals going to a United team in decline with and aging squad.

all this meedja conditioning and brainwashing leads us to sometimes over-estimate the rags, the reality is that both dippers and the spuds should comfortably finish ahead of them, they will be 7th.

if you were the owners who have just lost a major part of their investment in the market, would you leverage another £100 million to get the players needed to get them into the top four? You have Rooney their best player who has not signed a new contract. Dont think so. I would be looking at trying to sort out the playing squad in the summer and getting what i could for the big names. They are in trouble due to years of their owners using them as a cash cow. Long may it continue.

Yep I agree......the only way they will qualify for Europe is by winning league cup.....

Massive game for them vs sunderland.

Then that final will take on very important meaning for them !! They will be up for that big time.

or they'll all be sitting at home watching us murder the mackems, with a cold feeling in the pits of their stomachs, realising they're not even getting Thursday night football next year and that they're no longer part of the big time and their glory days are behind them.

But even if they finish 7th they could still get into the Europa League. If we manage to squeeze past West Ham and beat whomever in the final then 6th place will qualify.
If the FACup finalists are both top four finishers, then 7th is in, albeit playing a qualifier in Iceland in June!
