A point that does not seem to be mentioned in all this scum transfer kitty hype is that - unless they are going to be as incompetent as they were in the summer any deals for this window should already be done or at least significantly progressed.

In todays world - for the top players you have to start your recruitment/negotiations many weeks in advance - it is not like going down the supermarket!!

So I suspect that there are no big deals lined up and therefore if they make any signings they will be panic buys - with them getting royally screwed - love it
Don't get ahead of yourself. I've heard Woodward's jet is fueling up as we post.

To sign off another sponsorship deal?

could be good back up for vinnie, mates with kolarov and nasty too :)

Heard that RVP being sold and his 'injury' isn't an injury that would keep him out. He is pissed that the GPC made plenty of promises that haven't been kept etc and he wants out. Similar to Rooney situation the other year although this time don't think it is about money with RVP. Maybe he has won a title (but so has Richard Wright) but had he have signed for us I have no doubt we would have won it last year as well and would be a few points clear this year already.

Also, they know that after talking about their 'war chest' they know that any deals that they do try and make they are likely to be asked to pay way over the odds. Which will result in wee daveeeyyy paying £20 million for Stephen Naismith then claiming there was no value in the market.

Someone said earlier that we should get a banner made with the chosen one on it but with the addition of a counter to their imminent demise. Its the end of the world as we know it and i feel fine, REM. My favourite tune at the moment

Wonder how RVP's "thigh injury" is considering he was skiing yesterday.

Hmmmmm.
I'd be very surprised if he was skiing as no footballer is allowed to do that.
He was with his little boy. Granted not speeding down the Alps but was still skiing with a thigh injury.
Footballers are simply not allowed to do potentially dangerous sports like skiing, certainly not someone at his level. It would be in his contract for sure. Who saw him and where? If it was him then that's basically two-fingers to Moyes & the rags.
