I did wonder about that myself. The Glazers forced out and he comes riding in at the head of the Red Knights.

Was reading that if the rags don't get 4th and qualify for the CL it would cost them 56 million quid. I don't think they could risk not signing some players in this transfer window. The rags without RVP are average. Without RVP, Rooney and Carrick they are relegation fodder. Look at the PL table and tell me I'm wrong. We've been saying it for years. They are 1/2 players away from being West Ham. (Although West Ham have got a better midfield.)

I'd be very surprised if he was skiing as no footballer is allowed to do that.

He was with his little boy. Granted not speeding down the Alps but was still skiing with a thigh injury.

Footballers are simply not allowed to do potentially dangerous sports like skiing, certainly not someone at his level. It would be in his contract for sure. Who saw him and where? If it was him then that's basically two-fingers to Moyes & the rags.

For his case, the clause might include chess.

Whoever they sign, you just know they're going to be absolute world beaters, top top top players. It wouldn't surprise me if they got Jordan Rhodes. He knows where the onion bag is. Can't realise his world class potential at a small club. It has to be the footballing giant that is manyoo. British too. Every boys dream. Utd fan since birth. Why the fuck would you want Cavani. No, I think there is value in the market. Osman, Rhodes and Shawcross. That's what I'd spend the £200 million on.
