won't stop them using the money even if UEFA find against it, they'll just say they're using that money against non-footballing liablities (loan interest and share dividends) and that anything they spend on wages and transfers is from gate/tv/commercial income, thats what makes ffp so pathetic.

The more I think about it, the more I think FFP is a ridiculous idea. Not now, not like this. Football was essentially a sport, it's essentially a business now. If it's a business, there's no reason why it should have constraints that other businesses don't have.

I've been a bit indecisive about this for a long time. I think my opinion swayed when I read that Chelsea were in favour of FFP and voted in favour of it's implementation in the Premier League. The pinnacle of hypocrisy. After they benefited from debt write-offs for years, and reached a self-sustaining level and realize it's more convenient that other clubs don't have the same privilege, making them paradoxically the single biggest benefactors of FFP rules.

Obviously they'd like to know how and why United are Getting £150 million in sponsorship money for a training ground. It makes the infamous Real Madrid training ground sale to the Madrid Council look legit.

Not sure of the numbers passing each day. Then you have to factor in matchday People, People attracted to the area via the proposed leisure destination and Etihad Campus, and exposure the training complex will get on televised match days, on the OS, and througout the media.
