‘Some players go for the money at other clubs but, if you ask them where they really want to be, they want to wear the badge of Manchester United, not only the biggest club in this country but in the world.

Jesus! When he was at Everton we all thought he kissed the rags arse, now coming out with utter crap like that has proved it!

I would put two clubs in the world in that catagory and that is Real Madrid and Barcelona. The rest it all depends who are doing the best at the time as top players will be well paid whichever club they go to.

These days people and youngsters in particular,it is all instant and about the here and now.We will say where this claptrap about the badge and history get them if they spend a couple of years out of the top four and without a trophy!

Well that's funny, David, becuase I could have sworn your best player had twice handed in a transfer request over the last two years and had to be more or less strong armed to stay.

I wish they were winning this one though. Dickheads really are shite.

Things can change quickly in football. Sunderland may get a result at Old Trafford but its likely that Utd will win. In that case their whole season and Moyes future may hinge on the League Cup Final. I know we have a great team and shouldn't be pessimistic etc but I have a nasty feeling they could win a one off match.

I hope I am wrong.

Always a possibility but I think losing the FA cup final last season still hurts and we'd destroy them.

any team can always win a one-off game

no point worrying about it and certainly not them

we turn up, we play near our best and we most probably win..........

Fair point.

The likes of Pollock, Margetson leave a scar!

Worried now. Once Sunderland beat them this week, the game against us will be United's cup final and they'll be at their very best. Rooney and Van Persie will be fit too. Can't see us scoring more than 5.
