If that incident reflected badly on Cantona it did so a hundred fold on United. Cantona demanded £90,000 in 'expenses' allegedly incurred in getting a few of his mates to play in the 40th anniversary of Munich charity benefit match in 1998. The club should have told the multi millionaire Cantona to fuck off as it was a charity game for the benefit of the Munich families, many of whom had hit hard times. However, they not only paid the c*nt his £90,000 but instead of paying him from their bulging coffers they paid him out of the benefit match proceeds.

Scum or what?

Van Gaal has definitely turned me against football this season with the way he has managed United. I have much more enjoyment watching teams like Arsenal and Spurs and sometimes, I would choose to watch those games over United sadly

A) deny it and call me bitter.
B) say I'm a twat for daring to mention the word Munich and call me a bitter.

Not to reopen old debates but I have to admit that I always kind of liked cantona. He was basically a fucking lunatic who had the balls to do things I wouldn't have the balls to do and I admire that.

Saying that I hated him in the derbies he played in and always felt he wasn't quite the football genius he was painted as. I cannot recall him ever having a great game in Europe. I'm all for battering racists, though I doubt they're as tasty as cod or haddock, but I've never believed that Cantona knew the bloke was a racist when he attacked him.

There is nothing that can excuse what that French idiot did that night and if he'd played for Bury, Rochdale or Exeter, I doubt he'd have played football again.

A rag I've known since school posted on Facebook after the Swansea game that he couldn't imagine having to pay his hard earned money to go and watch a game, it's bad enough watching it on a dodgy stream on the internet!

We're really starting to find out who the real fans are now and who were glory hunters all along haha
