Rag at work got a call today "Renew your Season Ticket early and get the chance to win it for free".

Kin ell it's not March yet and the Scum are peddling season tickets. I reckon their starting to realise Top 4 is beyond them so are panicking ;)

I didn't like Cantona the person etc but as a footballer he was the player I tried to emulate the most as a kid. Rag or not, the way he played the game was class

Le Tiss was the other

How they're 4th in the table having played consistently badly throughout the whole season is beyond me. Every team gets a lucky win from time to time but United seem to have turned it into an art form. Not only that, they don't appear to have a discernible style of play whereas every other team in the top 7 does. Even the more rational United fans are scratching their heads in disbelief at how poor they're playing. Maybe the Tactical Turtle will get it right over time but if they don't get top 4 this season you'd have to say his position is under threat given the amount of money they spent in the summer.

I had to laugh at the thread on Rag Cafe about the games this weekend with United fans paying us backhanded compliments by saying "why can't we play football like City?". I don't think any of us could've envisaged it going so badly awry for them in such a short space of time but when you look back, the signs were clearly there that Baconface was papering over the cracks over the last few years of his reign. I doubt they'll disappear off our radar for too long but it's amusing watching all the same.

1. pass short and slow (mostly between the back 5/6)
2. if down after 60 mins, lump long balls up to Failaini

c**t in work said he's stopped watching the Derby the last few years! They're not the same anymore apparently! Typical fucking wanker.

I don't suppose four in a row and six of the last seven has anything to do with it, has it?

From ragcafe....in the "Peter crouch" thread.......obviously wanting to bring in some real class.

Saturday at 17:16

Sorry to bump an old thread, but should we be looking at him in the summer?

If not, maybe Kenwyne Jones or Andy Carroll

Yes, but when, (if) they come back they will never be the same. Their bubble burst and cannot ever be re-inflated. They will have lost so much ground and flakey, plastic, glory-hunting support, that they will not be the same 'force' that they used to be. That, in turn, will reduce their earning power and financial backing, which will further hinder their future success.

Any 'massive' investment will only be trying to play catch-up with Chelski, Le Arse, (if they spend,) and us. And we will be much further ahead.

Great innit?
