Danny Welbeck can feck off for all I care, he is now my most hated player.. Born and bred in manchester then he celebrates like the cnut he is - carlos tevez is nothing compared to the welbeck. Hope his career fails big time from here.

fecking bastard

You’ll have to forgive us for the inevitable spelling mistakes and and swears. There’s likely to be plenty of both as we’re writing post immediately after United’s 2-1 loss to Arsenal in the FA Cup and we’re still semi-furious. Not just with the result, it was sort of expected, but more with, well, everything else.

We were going to write some more preamble, but we’re still semi-furious so let’s crack on, eh?

- van Gaal’s ‘philosophy’ isn’t working: Let’s be honest, no one, but van Gaal knows what the fuck he wants the players to do out on the pitch. As a fan watching the game it looks like it’s made up of two thing 1) keep possession with slow and steady build up play and 2) twat the ball long to the lads up front.

A decent run of not getting beat papers over the cracks. There’s no fluency, drive or creativity across the pitch. It’s not working.

- Valencia regression is laughable: You could argue Di Maria was more to blame for Monreal’s opener (more on the naughty Argentinian in a bit), but there’s no doubts that Tony V cocked up for Welbeck’s winner.

There’s a serious lack of confidence from Valencia. Yes, he has moments of being solid at winning the ball, but his attacking threat is nil. Not only was he kept quiet by Monreal, he made his opposite number’s night so easy with his reluctance to take him on. Lest we forget that Antonio once felt the weight of the #7 shirt and requested to change. How can a player who’s afraid of numbers be trusted to best the an opponent?

- Van Gaal is a troll: Not the under the bridge dwelling type, but the ones more likely to pop up on the internet and ruin your day. He must be. It’s the only explanation for why he insists on keeping a perfectly good right back (Rafael) on the bench and play a broken winger in his place.

Or how the Dutchman deems Fellaini to be a bigger goal threat than Falcao, y’know, the striker we famously loaned and has had splinters in his arse all season. Van Gaal’s troll levels reach new heights when you consider he’s not playing Mata when the side are desperate for the keys to unlock defences. Super troll. He must be.

- Di Maria is not right: Maybe it’s the attempted break-in at his family home, or maybe it’s acclimatising to the Premier League pace, quite possibly it’s having to watch Smalling and Jones hoof the ball over his head. Whatever it is, Di Maria isn’t quite right.

To compound a lacklustre game, which saw him give the ball away numerous times, the Argentinian was sent off for petulantly grabbing referee, Michael Oliver. Yes, he assisted Rooney’s goal with a great pass, but the majority of his game was being blown over by gusts of wind and stropping about the Old Trafford pitch. Also, he really should’ve tracked Monreal for the opener.

- Rojo is United’s only decent centre back: Smalling and Jones are accidents waiting to happen. Loose passes, hoofs down field and poor touches are par for the course with these two clowns.

Smalling’s mistimed clearance lead to the second goal, and one of Jones’ first pieces of play was to fly six foot over Giroud - no wonder Phil is always injured, he’s a lunatic. If they’re still at United next season, we’ll eat our trousers. Possibly.

- Januzaj and Di Maria should be ashamed of themselves: Diving? Really, lads? At least try to disguise like Rooney and Young.

- Strange substitution are strange: Shaw is still coming back from injury, so we understand that he might not have been 100%, we accept that Jones probably needed to come on. But Carrick for Herrera? No offence to Michael, but he’s not going to add much pace to any side.

United weren’t having a problem keeping possession, so to grind the midfield to a halt with Blind and Carrick at the base was a really weird one. And despite being on a yellow card and still throwing elbows and knees everywhere, Fellaini sweated out another 90 minutes as Januzaj came on for Rojo. Lump it to Marouane is van Gaal’s plan A through to Z at the moment.

- De Gea is the best keeper around: The Spaniard pulled United out of the shit with a string of highlight reel saves. He was the one player in a United shirt who didn’t deserve to be on the losing team. Just how long will he tough it out with that leaky defence in front of him? If we were Real Madrid, we’d be on the phone to him now. Get him, while he’s down and all that. Fuck sakes though, Dave, don’t leave us.

H....oooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo....F!!!

In American Football we time how long the ball has been in the air during a punt ( hang time ). Would love to see this stat used during a Ushited game.

You'd need a calendar, not a stop-watch.

Just picked this up from Roy Keane's comments about the game ................
There is a time to play and a time not to -- Phil Jones should have cleared it. Valencia, of course, compounded his first half error. I think the keeper can sacrifice and take Danny [Welbeck] out of the game. He would get sent off but he could have made the sacrifice and now they are out of the FA Cup.
Sums up the mentality and win at any cost of the dickheads that do pull (and have pulled) on the red jumper. A bunch of cheats.

I don't see a problem with such a winning mentality,it's one I wish we adhered to.

Maybe our next manager can develop such.
