To be honest its gone on for years - same used to happen with Loserpool players - Phil Thompson, Phil Neal to name a couple - one or two suspect Arse players came to the fore - Ray fuckin Parlour springs to mind - so rag players have had the same treatment to the detriment of possibly better players from less fashionable teams.

I gave up with England a few years ago myself - got sick of the press hype and the constant being led up the garden path by a group of mediocre players I just sacked the whole idea. We haven't really had an effective England team since Euro 96 - that and Italia 90 we just didn't appreciate what we had at the time thats all.
