I must say that I do doubt that there could be any truth in this Kane to Utd rumour.
Though, if there were any, it'd be another benchmark in their descent into anonymity. £40 odd million for a kid with one season under his belt?
We can only hope.
But he's a proven winner...

The same criticism could be leveled at us chasing Sterling...

Andy Cole has told Manchester United that they should “be cheeky” and bid for Sergio Aguero instead of chasing Harry Kane.

The former United striker said that the £40 million the Tottenham forward would cost represents a gamble compared with the proven talent they could acquire for £60 million.

"Luis Suarez went for around £60m last summer, so I'd be putting another £20m on top [of the reported Kane fee] and try to find a top, top striker,” Cole told Sports Mole. “What I'd do, I'd be cheeky and bid £60m for Sergio Aguero, just like Manchester City did with Wayne Rooney a few years ago."

Wah haaa haaa that has cheered me up :)

I'm sorry. I'm American and not well-versed in British slang.

Is "I'd be cheeky" the same as "I'd be a fucking moron"?

I'd be cheeky generally refers to something where you ask for something to which you know the answer will be no, or taking something from someone which they'll obviously notice you doing, in a "no harm done" kind of way.

Like if a dog nicks food off your plate, stuff like that.

In this case it's just moronic.

Unless used when referring to Nando's, in which case it's a moronic ****.
