Only a space cadet like the Vadge could even contemplate buying a midfield player when he presides over a defence that is utterly woeful at best..!! Without De Gea they would be lucky to have hit mid table this season...!

Imo he's been the rags best player by a mile whenever I've seen him play for them this season. Mourinho didn't want him at Chelsea as he's not a Jose style player, but we're not a Jose style team and the year before Mourinho sold him he was Chelsea's best player and one of the best in the PL. I certainly wouldn't say no to getting him on the cheap if possible, we badly miss a central playmaker and decent set piece taker at times.
