I might be going off message here but surely the lack of European games means that, like the scousers last year, they should be able to mount a fairly serious challenge in the league...
Liverpool looked fucking knackered the last 6 games..Where as City and Chelsea didn't.. more games can improve your fitness levels.. in fact the Dippers needed to score in the first half as they always seemed to tail off in the second half.

He's taking over a mediocre squad, this isn't barca or bayern, this is a squad who downed tools on wee davy when they didn't like what he was doing..
They strike me as a collective who don't like change plus they're technically on their 4th manager in a year, they may start off ok but they have form where they go missing in matches, what leaders do they have?
Fuckface has gone to qpr, rugby tackling vidic has jumped ship, French gobshite is halfway out the door too, that's a lot of experience gone with not a lot coming in. Obviously Shaw is the new Roberto Carlos but their defence will be their soft centre next year.
Turtle features won't be weaving his magic there that you can guarantee...
I think you'll find he's the new Duncan Edwards.

I thought that was Stan Laurel!

You have to have a decent team to do that mate and even with the new signings, their team isn't as good as any in last seasons top 4.

Liverpool's squad wasn't that great either...

And they'd won the league by April.

So that's the 3rd experienced defender gone, let's hope Roberto Carlos Shaw doesn't tear a hammy or else left back is looking very bare..
They need at least..
2 commanding centre halves....
Another left back..
Another defensive midfielder...
Possibly another forward to add to the two sex pests and the lesbian up front..
Not to fear, they have an open cheque book and the best manager in the whole wide world..
The pressure surely has been ramped up 10 fold on utd and Chelsea, the wankfest for both should mean we remain slightly under the radar and just go about our business quietly and efficiently...
Can't wait for the season to start...

Good point well made, I had completely forgotten the dippers had won the league.

Let's hope he does!

I don't usually wish injuries on players, but when it comes to rags - and John Terry - I'm willing to make an exception!

Whoa the Red shirts are out today aren't they... I probably seen 1 or 2 shirts in North West whilst them lot were under Moyes.

The media throw out all this propaganda, LVG is the saviour sent from heaven and I saw about 10+ today whilst out and about.

Had my fun though when I say to one of these Chevrolet fans:

I think you'll win the champs league this season.

His response was to smile and agree... lol.

Clueless rags.

I think a lot of fans are in denial here about the rags just like they were with us 4/5 years ago. They will finish in the top 3 with 2/3 more astute signings. No European football will benefit them hugely. Pity Moyes couldn't get them into the Europa league the useless git.
