My problem with the whole media wankfest about these lot is that it might lead teams to be afraid of them again like they were for years. So the west hams and sunderlands of the league will lie down and take one up the arse from them- unlike last season when teams went and attacked them.

If everyone believes they are 'back to their best' or some bullshit, then they'll get free wins again

And all of the dodgy decisions, dubious penalties and blatant off side decisions in their favour not to mention an additional 7 minutes extra time from nowhere when they need a goal.
Normal service will be resumed next Saturday.

well the the (TR)additional 7 minutes extra time vanished faster than a bobby charlton being chased by the ticket police after slur handed his notice in along with all their dodgy free kicks and pens, they are going to be a better team than they were with moye's they couldn't possibly be worse but they used to start the season on plus 18 points with taggarts ranting and now their on a even keel and suffering

Their squad is light in defence and midfield and I'm not buying into the, Rooney has suddenly become the best player on earth myth.

Rooney won't like Van Gaal's training after a few months, will he?

Too bad Carrick's out. He'd have given them an easy out to avoid choosing between the miraculously fit again and motivated RVP and two-time hostage taker Rooney (and they like to talk about mercenaries!).

Had a look at that formation being debated---they're not going to put Carrick in defense are they? That's suicidal against top half (let alone top 4) teams.

Apparently Vidal has signed personal terms. Could be their missing link in midfield.
He had a knee meniscus op at end of last season - similar to Balotelli.

If they get Vidal then fair do's.
I thought he was a no go after declairing recently he never wants to leave and getting a juve tat on his arm.

So fair do's to the rags if they do but i will think he is a bit of a wanker.
I know all players have to say they are happy but this fella went above and beyond all that. I think i just don't get why if nowt has gone on behind closed doors you can be so empassioned about a team then be seemingly perfectly happy to leave it.

Still i hope they do not get him for schadenfreude purposes.

This Vidal report is from one Italian tabloid. I'll believe it when I see it.

Have i missed something MES? :)
I'd just be surprised if there's any truth in it, the BBC mentioned it as a gossip item, it doesn't really seem to have gathered any speed in Italy and only yesterday the scum were making their usual noises for when they get snubbed.
