The penny is finally starting to drop

"Fans got to stop buying the season tickets, if that even matters to the glazers anymore. For me, the day the glazers sell the club, is the day this club starts to become the successful team they once were again, my fear? that could be a long long time away. And I do not see us winning a champions league under these conditions for a long long time to come, winning the PL title is becoming a long distant memory, but we will defiantly go past our last champions league drought between 99-08. I can see us going past our last PL title drought between 2003-06, hopefully not a 26 year barren run, but if this family has plans for decades of ownership I do not see us winning another title under this lot, not when the bar by allot of clubs in england and abroad are setting

Looks like we get to taste the Doug Ellis years aston villa fans once had under that ownership"

I love this kid's idea of a 'drought'.

What a massive ****.
Yeah have to agree. Arrogant entitled wankstain.

The Sunday Fail is full flow regarding the rags PR machine...

'The United Way:

we should not forget that players such as Marouane Fellaini, Shinji Kagawa and Nani started on the bench, as Jesse Lingard and Tyler Blackett were handed an opportunity.

Six of the 10 British players in the squad were homegrown in the United academy. It is now 3,701 consecutive first-team games that Manchester United have had an academy product in the match-day squad. The run stretches back to 1937. With Van Gaal at the helm and Ryan Giggs as assistant manager, that record should be protected.'

This is simply NOT true. They call John O Shea "an Academy prospect" but he was bought aged 17 and never played in United's youth set up and he was the only one a few years ago in some squads. I can't be arsed looking at others but it just shows that United spin everything to suit the "The United Way".

yep, an similarly apart from wilshere and maybe gibbs arsenal dont really have an academy product either...all hg players have been poached

This whole 'academy' thing completely baffles me.

They shout about it like it's some magical achievement.

Does any sane person really give a single fuck?
