Did anyone notice Captain Shrek's barnet yesterday? He needs to get his money back from that hair replacement clinic, it's coming out quicker than Coleen's platinum card. No wonder he went for the overhead kick, each time he heads the ball he must leave 5 grand's worth of transplants on it.

The **** is turning into the ticket tout...even got the comb over going on

The ref should have stuck some of the shaving foam they're using to mark out 10yards on to Shrek's bonce and got him to the cut throat barbers and got rid.....
It's like drawing a pair of curtains and them not meeting in the middle, maybe if he permanently frowns the two sides of hair might meet join together...

Apologies if this got caught in the past few pages (and I missed it) but German reports now are that Bayern is set to scupper the rag move for Benatia.

If true - oops! Back to the drawing board!
Not surprised he would choose them over United, but it surprises me how dense some people can be. Was listening to the Supplement today and apparently Scholes was complaining about United not signing Kroos or Fabregas. As if United had any chance of ever beating Madrid to a player, especially now they are not in Europe.

And just this - the rag media complex seems to assume that every big name player is just dying to come and join this circus. With no European football and doubtless a bunch of brand-whoring meaningless friendlies on shit pitches in Ulan Bator to look forward to.

They'll attract some people, sure, but no one who could go somewhere better. And lots of places look better nowadays.

I wouldn't be surprised if they raided Portugal, that's always the place to go for good players who are willing to go to second tier teams with plenty of cash. Monaco took good advantage of it last year and Valencia have done it this year, but there are still a few players left that would improve the rags. Either that or Woodward will continue to talk a big game while failing to sign anyone.

I get the feeling it will be the latter - this is the bog standard summer window Rag bollox - linked with every fucker and buy a couple only - I would not be surprised to learn their spending is done now and they are relying on the master tactician to mould that mid table squad into world beaters - major fallouts to ensue

i'm just waiting for the traditional near end of window speech, it goes something like this

with careful consideration the manager and members of the board have decided that manchester united will not pursue any further targets on the transfer market, we feel at this late stage in the market their is no value and we will now be fully committed to bringing in players from our youth set up to cover any gaps that may have been created due to our selling policy.
