i think most would have done what he has, nice signing on fee, 12/18 months of hell on a decent wage and move on to a mid table club ,Ross Barkley's career could have been over this weekend ,just grabbing security at a young age

yeah, I understood why Lallana and Lambert left, as they'd earned it by bringing Southampton up to the Prem, but Shaw needed the development time, he needed to learn his trade and I think he owes Southampton. Our young players don't seem to be trained for a proper lifestyle suitable for football and its breeding embarrassments like Fortaleza where Pirlo had 3/4 England players lying around him with cramp just looking completely bemused, I hope at City we can breed a different type of English player, one that learns from the likes of Zabaleta and Vinnie in terms of how to conduct themselves.
