If Sporting refuses to pay Doyen's share as reported, I doubt it has any implication on the permit as its between Sporting and Doyen. The money has been paid out. But im just speculating as I kfa about how these things work.

Though if this work permit is indeed delayed because of this row, I can see their hand being forced to loan him out to another country at least until the permit is sorted.

I have a feeling we bid our time with Mangala just so 3rd party complexities such as this do not trouble us.

Villa and Hull have made bids of around £9m for Tom Cleverley... unbelievable, the myth of United continues and they get good money for one of the most useless midfielders I've seen in a while.

He and Fletcher must have dirt on Fergie. There is no other explanation. It really does look like this current yard sale is an exercise in clearing the wage bill to make space for bringing in some quality.

It will be very interesting to see what happens with the international career's of both Cleverley & Wellbeck when they are no longer playing in the red shirt of the rags...

Or perhaps its a case of clearing out some of the shit so the Glazers can balance the books after spending £130 million this summer?

It probably wouldn't stop a work permit, but it would stop his premier league and FA registration as they wouldn't have complete ownership of the player.
I presume if he is not able to be registered in time for the squad to be submitted, next week then they can't register him until January.
