Especially when you consider what NDJ went for. Was it £3m? So Zinadine Cleverley is 3x the player!?! Hmmmmmm

Villa and Hull have made bids of around £9m for Tom Cleverley... unbelievable, the myth of United continues and they get good money for one of the most useless midfielders I've seen in a while.

He and Fletcher must have dirt on Fergie. There is no other explanation. It really does look like this current yard sale is an exercise in clearing the wage bill to make space for bringing in some quality.

That's correct flower, you've only had the last two weeks in July and nearly the whole of August to get some quality in and upto now the rags have brought in an overweight left back who is injured, a Spanish midfielder so gifted that only Southampton wanted him and he too is injured and Di maria who didn't really want to leave Madrid, accused them of pushing him out but miraculously the British press spun it round and rolled out the lifelong utd fan line....
That queue of quality players waiting to play for the rags must be backing into the Manchester ship canal by now.....

We just got £12M for Rodwell who is equally as incapable at the top level

Clubs pay a premium for them being English, don't ask me why, thats just the way it is

I have just been watching the unveiling of Di Maria on SSN and Van Gall has just actually said in refrence to Di Maria, and i quote:

Best bit of that interview was when asked if he was surprised by the re-building required at the club, he said..

"In respect of David Moyes and Ferguson, I will not answer that question."

If Sporting refuses to pay Doyen's share as reported, I doubt it has any implication on the permit as its between Sporting and Doyen. The money has been paid out. But im just speculating as I kfa about how these things work.

Though if this work permit is indeed delayed because of this row, I can see their hand being forced to loan him out to another country at least until the permit is sorted.

I have a feeling we bid our time with Mangala just so 3rd party complexities such as this do not trouble us.

It probably wouldn't stop a work permit, but it would stop his premier league and FA registration as they wouldn't have complete ownership of the player.
I presume if he is not able to be registered in time for the squad to be submitted,next week then they can't register him until January.

We can but hope :)

It's fairly obvious what he's trying to say - "he's only been here two days, give him a chance" etc. The other quote is rather startling mind!
