He actually has a point when it comes to European games against the top teams.

The team has shown too much respect to the likes of RM, Barca & BM in previous seasons but then so have the fans.
We really need a big win to get people to believe that we can win this competition. Our two previous wins against BM were
both essentially dead rubbers. If we can recreate the atmosphere we had against Hamburg when (relatively speaking) we were
shite that can give the team a big advantage in home games. Scholes may be a c*** but he's right on this one.

Just got back from a teatime pint with a cousin of mine, now he can be a good lad at times but he is a red prick and sometimes it has to come to the surface. this is the first time he has been in touch for weeks and he chose tonight to enlighten me with a couple of pearls of wisdom.

1. Di Maria looks like a real prospect !!!!!!!!!! for £60+ million i should hope he is the finished article.
2. Even after a poor start they are only two points behind us !!!!!!!! i cant disagree with the facts but surely the opposition faced needs to be taken into account? Get this he agreed, but he thought QPR and Burnley as they are newly promoted are every bit as tough as Arsenal and the red dippers.
