Last night had all the hallmarks of a classic Ferguson backs to the wall performance. Not mattering too much as to personnel or systems (which it wouldn't have to given the make up of the back five). Probably it comes down to tactics and the spirit within the team. We should have lost but I we didn't. I saw that many times under Ferguson. Are we on the way back? I would like to think so, you wouldn't.
1st point, your manager had nothing to do with it.
2nd point, we will never know as we won't be consistently playing dogshit.
Also, I'm pretty sure that if any manager spent the kind of money on average players that your manager has done and consistantly played dogshit, he wouldn't very long.
