Do utd win the league today if they beat Hull?
Remember the headline "We're back" when the won the QPR trophy 4-0..
Am just readying myself for the wankfest to follow if they get a result...

To be honest, any United fan who thought we would win the league must have been kidding themselves. Finishing top 4 this season has always been the aim, Chelsea, City and Arsenal all had better squads then us at the start of the season.

I always believed it was a straight shot between us and Liverpool for 4th spot. So no, winning 4-0 today won't mean we will win the league.

Don't get it city spend 100m+ we are told by the media that unless we win the league it's a failure and the manager will probably get sacked but the rags spending 1/4 of a billion in the last 12 months or so 4th is the target and fine?!

Eh? Did you mean the GPC bullying thing? You never 'got' the fact that Fergiescum was a vindictive, malicious, petty-minded control freak with the backbone of a slow worm? All the fucking grace and charm of the sort of venomous reptilian usually found in the Everglades of the Florida swamps? A man so convulsed with murderous rage towards anyone whose opinion differs to his that even his closest friends have to watch their backs lest he strikes, like the cowardly bastard that he is?

This is a man who was seemingly allowed to physically manhandle fourth officials with impunity. A man who with the tacit approval of the FA would get in the face of referees and scream obscenity after obscenity knowing that he and that grotesque excuse for a football club that employed him were beyond reproach.

To be honest mate if you thought Liverpool would be anywhere near the top 4 with Brendon at the helm you must never have watched a football game .I honestly think it is impossible for united to not Finnish top 4 due to the rest of the others being so inconsistent .Liverpool.spurs.out of it arsenal.Southampton. Swansea unlikely to last the distance .i honesly cannot see any difference in Rodgers .Moyes or the turtle I think their records are identical .

To be fair, our form has been a lot more consistent since the transfer window closed. The first 3 games were a nightmare, to only walk away with 2 points from Swansea, Sunderland & Burnley was poor.

Think we're a bit more settled at this stage of the season then we were in those first few games and our OT form has been good. Also, surely you'd agree Hull and Stoke at home are relatively simple?

Then again, Stoke have had some good away wins, haven't they? :P

No, your ''form'' hasn't been ''more consistent since the transfer window''... you're still playing just as shit as you have done all this season and last season, the only thing that's changed is your keeper is playing exceptionally well and that good old flukey rag luck is starting to creep back in, Palace and Arsenal both deserved something from your last 2 games.

Yes your quite right, City didn't deserve to beat Bayern, it was a rare, freak occurrence but still the media rammed it down our throats how lucky we were, 'papering over the cracks' 'Peli's job saved by Aguero' 'one man team' etc etc etc etc

The difference is that, traditionally, for the rags, a flukey win is not a rare or freak occurrence...it's just business as usual.

In the last season and half of rag shitness I've honestly not seen a huge difference in your style or manner of play compared to all the years under Ferguson... the only difference has been that your usual huge doses of good fortune seemed to have abandoned you, and now I'm starting to see worrying signs of it returning.

We have to win our next 2 home games against Hull and Stoke. After the win against Arsenal last week, we've got a good chance to gain some momentum, confidence and hopefully extend our lead over our other challengers for top 4.
