c**ts are doing well pointwise, tbh. De Gea saved them this year so far but that's why you have keeper.

I'm afraid they might catch CL this year, Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs dropped a bollocks so far and let them in.
They should never have fallen out in the first place. Moyes did an unbelievably bad job. I wasn't sure about Van Gaal, but I was confident he would get them top 4. They are not a balanced team, but just have too much quality to finish outside the top 4.
the other teams have done worse though. After 12 games the rags had the same points as last season. Last season they was 8th. This season they are 4th. I thought they played better against us but apart from that they look as average as they did last season but they can win playing poorly.
And after 14 games they have 3 points more. Take away those 3 points and they would be around 8th. Even then I was sure they would get fourth.

The big difference is that last season they were champions and had the confidence of champions. Other teams were still scared of them and it was making difference. This season nobody respected them or feared them. They are grinding out results and rebuilding their confidence and aura. I just cannot see them collapsing like under Moyes. I reckon they will come third and then buy raid Dortmund.

Lurking Red UcNTS. Have you noticed the new financial figures the club has posted? Has the penny finally dropped we are here to stay!!!!
I don't reckon it's quite dropped yet, mate. Most of them will still be in denial, blaming the figures on dodgy sponsorship deals and financial doping as a coping mechanism. They really haven't got a clue about the scope and scale of the project. Their minds think it's still 2008. Their brains simply can't process what as happened and what is yet to come.

People keep talking about Top 4 but if Everton or Spurs win the Europa League, it's Top 3 only who will qualify.
Rags will get 3rd anyway.

not a very good return for all that money they've spent and the highest wage bill in the league to force players to go there

trying to buy success again and becoming mediocre instead

almost sad

nah, it's fucking hilarious

Yes Phil Chuckle beating a lubed up Steve Bruce team as well as defeating Stoke with an offside goal means the swamp is now a fortress.
