Why is this not a pen?

Just got a text from a twabs ......'6pts'
The same giddy fucker texted me last week saying theyn was top of the league...
That was between the hours of 1430-1645.
Same giddy rag who texted me to say what's the score when they was beating barca in the pre season cup.
Fuckin love it.
The whiff of desperation from the twabs.

So what's going on with Wayne Rooney? He failed to have a single shot in the game, and touched the ball once in the Aston Villa area, and that was to clear it out for a throw...Well earnt his money tonight...Rooney doesn't look like he gives a shit anymore :)

Just plucked this off Facebook !!

One thing that I see on here all the time is members throwing around terms like "plastic" and "glory supporter" to describe a fan who supports either a successful team, or a team that is based a distance from where they live. I don't understand the logic behind it, the idea of being a football fan is to support and follow your team, whether that be watching them on the TV, buying their merchandise, or going to watch them play every single weekend.

And whilst I believe that you probably should want to see your local team succeed and do well (unless they are a direct rival of your favourite team) I don't see why you should have to follow them whole-heartedly; they may not play a particular brand of football that you like, or they may not play a level of football that you grew up knowing. Not to mention the ridiculously high costs of attending every single game, that is simply a cost that most people can't meet in the current financial climate.

Whilst I may have never actually been to Old Trafford to watch my team play, I've followed Manchester United for nigh on ten years now, and I've been through every single emotion in doing so - the elation of winning the trophies, and the despair of having David Moyes in charge. Just because I haven't travelled extensively to do so does not mean that I am any less of a devoted fan than somebody who has, it just means that my circumstances are different.

Football, in my opinion has never, and will never be a question of geography, but a question of dedication and passion. And that's the way I like it.

(And to those who saw my post earlier, no, I don't believe were going to win the league. Yet.)

He looks like he's had a look around at the state of the once "mighty reds" and what they are becoming- and the effect on him is obvious!
He's also maybe thinking of an opportunity he may have had to join another club a few years ago - and how he could be playing with world class teammates and seriously challenging for trophies, before he gets fat and bald!

Aw, bless!

Just finishing watching that game and without my blue tinted specs on I haven't seen a United side so powder puff up in an attacking sense since Whiskey nose won his first title. Villa were so naive and all over the show tonight I honestly reckon we would have trounced them 3 or 4 nil and that's being kind. Rooney was shocking and is looking increasingly frustrated, I lost count how many times he gave the ball away along with getting himself offside and giving fouls away, ha has a massive responsibility leading that line alone if they don't bring another striker in. Fair play to them picking up 6 points and keeping 2 clean sheets but they haven't been tested yet, especially that keeper who is intent on living on the edge with spraying the ball around his backline. From a United point of view they will say its a sign of a good team in picking up 6 points whilst not playing well and more players might be on the way but I don't hold no fear whatsoever in comparison to our team. (Please don't come back to bite me on the arse!)
