I think they will. Some teams are legitimately just undermanned--Villa are hardly world beaters. Spurs should've done better and were shit, but the rags still had one shot on target.
They may park the bus and win some 1-0s, but these won't be scaring teams like they did under Ferguson. Some teams will have a proper go, and provided that they are not managed by their alumni, I think these can be battered.

It was your assetion that they will be title contenders I was picking up on. Do you honestly see them as that?That's the point that i'm making, they are absolutely garbage, have no striker, don't bother to attack, every player seems to have retaining possession and defense as their main priority and all their star players want to leave or already have. But considering what a pile of crock they are, how weird the turtles head is they are winning games and may continue to by hook or crook, the assistance that they receive throughout the season from their refereeing portfolio will help them get some games over the line. I can't think of a single player in their starting 11 that would get into ours but if you consider that they have picked up 6 points playing badly it would be very difficult for them to get any worse.
Brace yourself for another 150M spend in the next few weeks which will be perceived as doing the right thing, improving the league not attempting to buying the title.
