Don’t get too carried away here. What most of you don’t seem to grasp is Van Gaal doesn’t have the players to fit his philosophy. Pedro certainly doesn’t fit the bill for the philosophy he is trying to implement, hence them pulling out of the deal and allowing Chelsea to sign him.

He’s changing their style from a team who always had pacey wingers, played it out wide early to try to isolate the full backs to swing a cross in of a CF's to get on the end of. What Van Gaal is trying to do has never been done before. He’s creating a brand new style of football.

Much the way Barcelona are renowned for their tika taka football, give it another 5 years or so and United will be credited for inventing hoofball. Now this isn’t just any old hoofball, this is a new style of hoofball; this is the best and the biggest hoofball in the world. The long diagonal balls to the Belgian Afro Headed Superstar are something to behold and something of beauty.

Never before has the world of football seen hoofball played where the target man is a midfielder who drifts in the channels finding the smallest person he can find to bully. Historically, hoofball tactics involved a target man and flick ons to a smaller pace striker (Fash the Bash & Tiny Terry Gibson spring to mind), but Van Gaal has adapted this for the modern game where a lot of midfielders are now slightly shorter and more technically gifted than they once were. This means that Fallaini can use his height advantage to good effect, whilst this also negates his lack of technical ability with the all at his feet, heading balls backwards to his other midfielders so they get up the pitch very very quickly without having to kick the ball more than once. This man is a pure genius to dream up these tactics. Pedro would definitely not fit his philosophy as hoofball is the direct opposite to Tika Taka, which is what Pedro has grown up with. Genius I tell you all, he’s a genius. He’s like a rich man’s Sam Alladyce.

You know things are bad on their forum when they feel the need to reaffirm how big and important Utd are. The current version is to categorise the world's clubs into huge, big and small. With predictable results.

This personifies United fans. Possibly the most amusing thing I've read all day.

Who do I blame for this?

UEFA/Platini/whoever for being too lenient?
Otamendi for being a glory-hunting cock?
Woodward for not trying?
LVG for not wanting?
Redcafe transfer thread for getting my hopes up?
FM2013 for even alerting me to this guy?

Actually I'm going to vent it all towards Johnny Evans

Oh the fucking irony.

Remember this hahahahahaha

Look at these belters from Rag Cafe.

I'm probably even more passionate about United post Fergie. I think it's because under Sir Alex I just became so accustomed to us winning that it no longer felt special. In fact I stopped watching the majority of games and would just catch up on MOTD, I'd only watch a game if it was CL fixture.

Now when we win, and hopefully eventually win the league again I won't take our success for granted, as I used to do. I tend to watch every game now on a dodgy stream to see how we've progressed from game to game, both in personnel and tactics. If anything a change in leadership has made me invest in United even more as I now desperately want us to get back to being champions and a force to be reckoned with in Europe.

I'm less bothered since Sir Alex left. Not really anything to do with trophies; I don't think I'd be as elated if we won the title this season, to be honest. I feel less attached and I don't even defend United as aggressively as I did in the past.

To be honest, I don't watch half as much football as I did a year or two ago. Probably just an age thing, as I also haven't played a minute of the latest FIFA, which was also unthinkable a couple of years ago.

Looks like the first one was that passionate a supporter he couldn't be arsed watching them and only caught up via MOTD. Now they're shit he's really pulling out all the stops though and actually bothering to watch on dodgy streams. That's some commitment there that is!! As for the other idiot he's that dejected he cant even be bothered to play his FIFA game, my heart is almost breaking for him.

Actually, I thought their English was quite good :)

I'm sure that I'm not alone in the belief that TT will take manure backwards. His man management skills are draconian and that is already causing issues internally. If the board do not intervene soon he potentially, if he hasn't already, quickly lose the dressing room. They will plummet even further and take years to recover.

Techically, their football is not good on the eye and whilst they have the same amount of points as us at the moment, if they don't get their act together very soon, they are heading for mid table, with teams who could only dream of finishing above them in seasons past, seeing a great opportumity to make it happen.

Great times for us Blues.
