12 months past his best, will look class against poor teams, not a game changer anymore. Would have liked him at City, but probably an equivalent to Lampard squad wise
 
I was surprised they didn't go for Cambiasso last year so Schweinsteiger makes sense. Himself and Carrick don't have long left though and with di Maria and Flappy on their way out along with the two strikers they're hardly strengthening. Don't think much of Darmian either, every top left winger in the premier league (and Bolasie) will rip him to shreds imo.
 
I don't know anything about Darmian. Schweinsteiger was a great player. Is he still? Not sure. He played about 20 League games last season. Was that due to injury or lack of form.

It's not a signing that any of the top clubs would have made, but he might give them two seasons.

Seems certain that they are going to buy a forward with RVP close to going, and Falcao leaving.

I really hope they sell Di maria. He can be brilliant if used properly. As it stands they've got an awful lot to do in the transfer mkt.

Seen him play for Italy a couple of times. Big strong full back, good technically but very, very slow over the first ten yards, useless further away from his goal than the 18 yards line.
 
Sad to see my favourite German player join this shower of shit. :(

He will have a huge impact on their midfield. They did decent with Carrick last year and Schweini is easily better...As somone mentioned already he is one of those special players who lifts those around him to another level and he is a great leader/winner.

He didnt play a lot of matches last season, but he was knackered after the long season followed by the World Cup. Unfortunately he will be a great signing if he hits the ground running. I doubt he will have problems adjusting to the PL especially as Van Gaal will give him time to rest/recover in the less important/demanding fixtures.
 
Where's Sergio Ramos? Will probably be saying where's Scheinsteiger in a few weeks time when they decide to make another move for Ronaldo. Oh I forgot they've got Depay he is now the new Ronaldo.

Fast becoming a joke club, the glazers got their hands burnt on squad investment last year so looks like they are settling for fourth and keep milking the cash cow for their shopping malls.
