Rags PR, the BBC say The clubs are still to agree a fee, but United are prepared to give the World Cup winner a massive increase on his salary. Saying World Cup-winning Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger, 30, has agreed to join Manchester United on a three-year contract believed to be worth £7.2m a year.

So for Utd it will be reported as a fee of 5.75 million
If he joined us it will be reported as a fee of £27 million as they would include wages

Weird one this. At first i thought it was a great signing for them. He'll improve their team significantly because of the absolute dross they currently have in midfield which makes them more dangerous. But, he'd get nowhere near any other top 4 starting midfield he's old, only got a few years left and isn't the type that could adapt his game too much to extend his career. I'm happy with them signing him. They'll secure top 4 status with him but he won't elevate them above our standard.
