From our point of view, LVG is the perfect manager for the rags to have. All I can see him doing is spunking loads of cash on mediocre players and playing mediocre football, unable to elevate them above their current level, yet not quite being shit enough to 'do a Moyes' and get himself sacked. The rag fans will be quite content to be stuck in a perpetual battle for 4th place because they believe that the next raft of big-money signings will be all they need to regain former glories, not realising they're stuck in a footballing purgatory.

Plus he comes across as a fucking idiot we can all have a good laugh at.

Long may it last.

They'll never get a replacement for Ferguson. Whatever City fans think of him, there's no denying he brought them so much success. They are extremely unlikely to find a match for him. LvG's just in the same mould as most other big name managers. They move from big club to big club, sign big players, spend big money and get moved one after one too many mediocre seasons.
LvG's 'better' (for City fans) than Moyes in as much as Moyes nosedived completely and got found way too soon. LvG's managing to make their decline more subtle, whilst still giving them hope that they can get back to the glory days. That'll do more damage in the long run, much like Liverpool slowly slipped away due to thinking each poor season was a one off, despite it happening time and time again.

He's already becoming a reason that some players don't want to join them, and already spent a fortune. Long may it continue.

Classic at work. Rag who is sat next to me, with his desk plastered with pictures, fixtures and calendars of the rags, is not watching the game tonight as he will be tuning in to the Great British Bake Off.

He must be a tramp if he doesn't have a box that can record it and/or iPlayer. Either that or he's a typical 'massive red' who probably still thinks Van Persie plays for them.

Probably all ready posted but the rag game is on freeview channel 59 tonight.apparently BT have to make so many games each season free to view

To be fair, United fans are brought up to assume winning the league is a piece of cake, and now they are being subjected to LvG's half baked ideas. but worst of all, playing Fellaini up front takes the biscuit. They've made a total mess of things, despite having spent loads of dough, and look cream crackered.

Still, to add a bit of salt to their wounds as they get their just deserts - they can always have a look at what we're cooking up - the creme de la creme.

That's very good.

Very well put together.

The united cake will never rise to the occasion...not with this currant manager.

Is it anywhere on the sky platform? I feel we may regret not watching this one tonight.... If they go ahead it gets turned over.
