Top signing for them unfortunately! He might be old but he's the sort of player they have lacked in midfield. If they get a centre half in then they will certainly be challengers.

Never in a million years did I expect them to get a player as good as him this summer.

Deluded if anyone doesn't think this is a class signing. Ballack signed for Chelsea when he was 30, bossed it and was there for a few years. Who knows what impact he may have but to dismiss this is foolish. Makes it even more important we get this window right
