Next thing they need is to buy Ramos, the SCUM building for the future

I struggle to take any United side seriously while they still have LVG in charge, I just can't imagine his United side playing good football. We're talking about a manager who could get more out of Ashley Young and Marrouaine Felllaini than he could Angel Di Maria and Juan Mata. He never managed to get them to play with any kind of attacking threat other than by hoofing it to Fellaini.

As for Schweinsteiger himself, he could work out as a good short term option, although an incredibly expensive one like Van Persie, but it's hard to be too worried about a 31 year old with fitness issues. Everyone on here has been debating whether last summer, this summer or next summer is the right time to move Yaya on, not about how we should be building the future of our team around him.

Brings a winning mentality into their squad - something they've been lacking for a little while. I don't think he'll tear the league apart but he gives them some added fight in the middle. Alone he's not the answer for them to challenge, they've got more business to do yet on that front.

Old and injury prone. His best days are gone. United fans are excited only because of his surname. I guarantee they would be excited with Ronaldinho signing for them because its Ronaldinho...

Nearly 31 coming to a new league and new team around him big ask for a player his age and some major pressure to hit the ground running.

I think he's good enough to make a big impact next season, Schweinsteiger is a top player.

I thought Schneiderlin would be the best they'd get in CM, not Bayern's best CM!

Just makes our summer even more important, we've got to get Pogba, Sterling and De Bruyne.

He made 20 appearances for Bayern in he Bundesliga last season. And he'll be 31 very soon

And the fact that he wants to move on suggests his days as a top player at Bayern are over
