I don't think people realise just how far behind City we are.

We're closer to Liverpools level, then we are to City's.

Gomis looked miles better than Rooney today. We're in deep sh!t if we are relying on him this season. Shouldn't be anywhere near the starting lineup if we want to ever reach the standards we aspire to.

He is finished. Plain and simple. He should be the first out of the door closely followed by LVG.

He just seems like he's aged so much. Defenders are quicker to him to everything. They knocked the ball off him, knock him off it before he can shoot and then there's the lack of precision in his touch and pass, as we saw for the first goal.

We need a centre forward badly.
