Hope it was a 4-4-2 with Naismith (game turning perfect hat-trick) or there's no justice.
Naismith made it. Thus what Crooks said about Martial (Rooney is all of a sudden a coach/mentor/spirit guide):

What a start to an already promising career at Old Trafford. Anthony Martial may have cost £36m but who cares if he can score goals with the same dexterity as he did when he came on against Liverpool?

If Martial is bright he will do exactly what Wayne Rooney tells him and forge a relationship with his captain as soon as possible - a point that seems to have been lost on fellow new signing Memphis Depay.

Do what Rooney says, listen to what he says, and don't try to be an overnight sensation, there's plenty of time for that. You've had a great start now let Rooney and those boys around you make you a star.

Has anyone mentioned that according to the BBC live text "Marital Aid" didn't touch the ball for the first 15 mins of his wonder debut? Well worth team of the week that...

Had he done something that no debutant was ever likely to do - say prod the ball home within seconds of coming on - I know bear with me its a fanciful notion but say that he had he would probably be a one man team of the week !!

Out of interest I assume that a player that did such a thing at Palace on Saturday doesn't get a sniff...............

And I assume Scott Dan is at CB for " Services to Football "

hought you may like this facebook banter from a few mins ago, jumped on a thread where he was piss taking yesterday's 'Derby', Mr Utd (not his name etc) is another long distance Rag, even has the Rag logo tat on both his wrists, he promotes Gt Yarmouth & has a keen interest in the History of the town, hence my comments a few years ago along the lines of, 'you should be ashamed of yourself supporting a team from over 200 miles away whilst promoting local history' then came out with well I don't really support Utd anymore more into FC Utd, then proceeded to tell me that he was in the pub when FC Utd was first mooted (I believe him!)

Me - Assuming from the above comments Man Ure won the History Derby yesterday.

  • Mr Utd Oh look - the four year history man arrives !!

  • Me - Nah, this 4 yr history team saved your ramshackle side in the 1930s, check out Manchester Central

  • Mr UtdAnd we've made you suffer for it ever since

  • Me What, like that 33/34 yr banner, tacitly approved by the club, that's class & gratitude.

  • Mr UtdAnd one day you might own your own ground again

  • Me I think we could afford it? Cue oil money comment

  • Mr Utd Just got to buy yourselves 20,000 refugees/illegal immigrants to fill it

  • Mr Utd Or have you already bought them their laser blue plastic suits ??

  • Mr UtdJeez - wonder what the GMP's figures are for the Bertie's then?
Do they record minus numbers ??

  • Me Find the article & perhaps you can enlighten me!

  • Mr UtdI'm not obsessed as much about Citeh as you are about United.

  • Me Unlike you to admit defeat, esp on footy banter.

  • Mr UtdNever admit defeat. Especially when this post was referring to teams that have won more than Ten titles. Still trying to work out why you're here
Unless jimbob has offered you favours

  • Me Nice one, can't win the History arguement, so let's trot out the I've got more toys than you........

  • Mr UtdNot at all - its just that I have a very low boredom threshold where the bitters are concerned. Plus I'm

  • Me Talking about 'bitters' would you like me to post an article about Utd complaining about City's current youth policy, being unfair etc, such irony.

  • Me 'I'm not obsessed as much about Citeh as you are about United' - I suppose you being a non Manc, I'll let you have that piss take out of the Manc accent
