Whilst I wish nothing good for that club I feel very sorry for Shaw.

Probably not malicious, but that should have been a red card. Reckless and dangerous. Imagine how we'd feel if that was one of our players.

Very damaging for Utd as he is just about the only player in their squad who has got forward and provided a cutting edge to their game. The rest of their play is so slow and measured but Shaw is one of the few players in their team who runs at defenders.

They will get out of that group though. However I am not sure that they have enough to get the top 4 this season. Their performances this season have been terrible. Even the win against Liverpool was substandard football lit up by a good set-piece and a moment of brilliance from Martial. Their general team play is stultifying

Hate the rags but wouldn't wish anything like what happened to Shaw on any player. Good luck to the lad and hope he recovers quickly.

That's what I was thinkin. He already look's like he can put on a stone in a week. Fuck knows what a few months out will do to him.

nasty break - wouldn't wish that on anyone - as said above, Shaw's going to pile the pounds on over the winter now - suspect he won't play again this season

I grimaced when I saw the tackle, in saying that, this would have been a normal strong tackle years ago. I just hope the injury doesn't leave any long term physical or mental scars.
