Obviously not bothered about catching arsenal who are on the same points as us or Leicester who are above them in the league.
No, they aren't obsessed with us...honest.

Has anyone been on a Leicester forum to see if they fancy their chances of finishing above us? Rains goals at the king power stadium where as old scaffold it rains shite.

You don't think Liverpool could get something from the game, not at all? Not even walk away with a draw
From ragcafe.
I'd hazard a guess he's taking a shine to Liverpool for our match with them.
Fuckin turncoat.

Yeah, there's truth in that but let's be frank here, you lot are top and the dippers are 10th, whatever people say, they will be wanting LFC to win, it's not like it's 2 games to go in the title race...
I fully understand and accept that. I was referring more generally to the insistence among much of your (non-local) support that Liverpool are still your "big rivals". The league table over the last five years would very much suggest otherwise. It seems some can't bring themselves to utter the truth possibly because they've painted themselves into a corner.

Given the relative financial muscle of united and City, fans of both clubs are going to have to accept the primary role that rivalry will play in their footballing lives for the next few years. In saying that, I've previously posted, that equally, any City fan who thought you lot were "going away" to any meaningful extent was also somewhat misguided, shall we say.

It's changed I guess, City are much more "direct" rivals, but wanting City to win title over Liverpool was genuine, think of it as a quick death (you'd already won PL) vs endless torture (Liverpool's first PL win and the inevitable over the top shit we'd all have to put up with from dippers).

Edit : Id suggest that the sickening Gerrard wankfest that ensued in the media as the campaign drew to a close caused many neutrals to feel this way too.

I agree, it would have been utterly unbearable for everyone in football if Liverpool had won in 2014!

Manchester City, ruining sickening wankfests since 2008 ;-)
