Tell you something, some of them don't like being called Rags over on Rag Cafe - some right fucking mard arses over there who really should take up following a more genteel sport if they can't handle a bit of rivalry and a few unflattering comments.

I reckon most of them simply don't understand or aren't used to the sheer tribalism that fans in and around Manchester will have experienced. They probably exist in an environment where they're given no stick or possibly even admired for being rags.

They didn't even try to win. They clearly don't want to win the title. Without Aguero and Silva you have to go for it if you're at home.
They tried that in 2012 when they came to ours and were clearly desperate to get that point that would keep us three points behind. They didn't have one shot on target that game but they didn't stop us scoring.

I reckon you're right. It makes for a strange forum though because you see some posts that weirdly give our team a lot of credit that you would never see reciprocated on here yet on the other hand they can't get their heads round the tribalism that regular match-goers or local fans might experience.

This Chris Smalling over reaction is now reaching comedic proportions. Wayne Rooney has labelled him as being in the top 3 in the world. It's arguable that he's not in the top 3 in Manchester. He's certainly not as good as Kompany nor would you even think about swapping him for Mangala or Otamendi.

At United, he is protected by Schneiderlein and by Schweinsteiger and his team play possession based low risk football. He's rarely left exposed. We played a similar style of football yesterday and look at the difference in Otamendi - and that was against a title rival. Imagine how good our centre backs would look against a mid table team with us playing that style of football. It's laughable really. He has improved but fuck me....top 3 in the world?

Tactical turtle might look like an escaped mental patient and talk like an escaped mental patient but he's very experienced and knows a good team when he sees one. He's seen more than enough of United to know, deep down, that they aren't equipt to win the league. He'll have been happy to take a point before the game started on Sunday, his players will have been under strict instruction NOT to lose that game by going for the win too much. City were happy to take the point too, but that was more down to our shortcomings up top, with Aguero, Silva and Nasri all unavailable. If we'd had a fully fit squad to chose from then I strongly suspect we wouldn't have gone with quite so defensive an approach to the game.

I reckon he's not top 3 in his own household.

Lol hes come out with a cracker in the MUEN. Man city were hanging on against us, says Chris smiling. I think somebody is begining to believe his own hype. Lol he's fucking wank.
If he's top 3 in the world, looks like real madrid and barca will be fighting for super chris smalling.

The thing about Rooney today that strikes me is that nobody dares to compare him with Ronaldo and Messi anymore.
The comparison with Ronaldo is all the more remarkable when one looks at the way they have both developed as footballers and athletes from very similar beginnings.
I know the guy can't do anything about his genetics (hair plugs, notwithstanding) but it's abundantly clear which of the two has looked after himself better.
The 'White Pele' has gone to seed and it would take a turnaround of miraculous proportions for his form to get back to anything remotely like the kid who burst onto the scene at Everton.... And they're stuck with him!
Bwaaahahahaha.... Woohoo hoo... Hardy har har har... Oh my sides...
