Can anyone disect their financial results today?
Manchester United have posted record third-quarter revenues of £123.4m despite their continued inconsistency on the pitch.

The Premier League club reported total revenue rose by 29.9% in the three months to 31 March.

It means they expect to earn between £500m and £510m in 2016.

If accurate, it demonstrates that they really are just a " brand " as their football has been sh*te and the " supporters " are supposedly disengaged with the club, due to their performances.

So their success is nothing to do with the actual football, but simply a case of lemmings following the name , as has been obvious since 1992 .

The biggest question is how the f*ck are that shower of sh*te where they are currently in the league, if not due to the collective failure of all the other PL teams ?

Read that there Adidas deal drops to around £50m if they don't finish top 4 next season.

Why did the share price go down after posting record revenues.
Because a lot of people sold their shares on the basis of the high revenue report . As soon as that happens the share price can go down rapidly as many are selling . It soon stops as an equilibrium is reached and punters\investors realise that the profit margin from sales is lessening so they hold on to their shares at that point .

completely off topic but I just wanted to add my bit about Nobby Stiles having that street named after him. great move. the man was an absolute legend. a proper player for them and for England.

congratulations.

For everyone who thought Bayern had beaten them to signing Renato Sanchez, please be aware that the Rags actually pulled out of the deal........it's true, as it is being reported on the BBC:

He also knows the area he needs to strengthen, having backed out of a potential deal for Renato Sanches, who joined Bayern Munich from Benfica on Tuesday.
