Not one for seat counting, for me it's pretty sad but them bastards will happily do it at our ground so here goes:

This is during the match, as you can see its pretty full on the lower tiers but the third tier was fully closed off at unsold trafford.

Stadia is empty throughout this country, regardless of how many fans the club has... Pricing is ridiculous and the more empty seats we see the better as maybe then clubs will take note and reduce the pricing.

Probably:
58k = tickets sold
41k = people present

This isn't new.

Based on what the online planner looked like yesterday morning, my guess for tickets sold would've been somewhere between the two. There were literally thousands and thousands available in the 2nd tier of the north stand, the top tier was closed, plus there was loads of availability in the upper tier blocks of the Stretford End. Plenty of other blocks in the ground had a considerable number of seats available too. If I was guessing, I'd have estimated 20,000 or more unsold tickets at that point plus the 3rd tier closure to add to that. Of course, there was probably a last minute surge for tickets as we often get for cup games, and according to my boss who was there they'd obviously given shed loads away to kids too so maybe they did get it up to 58k but it certainly looked nowhere near that yesterday morning.

You may be right. Maybe change "tickets sold" to "tickets distributed".
Where did the GMP figure come from?

my grandson went with his school the match tickets where virtually free , he wanted to go to old trafford and was supporting Midjiland as where a lot on the bus with him

Looks like they shifted a fair few late on in that 2nd tier as the planner yesterday morning was showing it a lot emptier than that!

I too can't be arsed with the empty seats argument most of the time - every club has them for whatever reason but it's the Rags who started with this shite, while at the same time implying that they always sell out regardless of the fixture. Fact is that they don't. Granted, they have much bigger support than us and will therefore get higher crowds for similar fixtures - no point in disputing that - but their support base is no less fickle than ours. The reason they can post 50-odd thousand crowds for Thursday night games is that for those regulars that don't bother turning up, there's always shit loads to take up some of the slack.

I will add that the irony of the empty seats jibes tend to come from armchair United fans rather than match-going reds.

The new new fill in gap.

Fau pala scores against Chelsea silence.

Rasher scores v some Danish carpenters and plumbers the new MESSI is it any wonder all football fans laugh at them.
I love it mate, just shows how bad there team is. They are that desperate to cling on to something its great. Most of there team wouldn't even make it in to our EDS squad lol.
They are utter shit. Everybody knows it, its a matter of time before they finish mid table every season. Another 3-4 years they will feel relegation hopefully. They are nothing anymore. Even if the worlds best manager rocks up in a few months, still won't help the rot that has settled in.

Just pulled this from their "Pogba" thread........this fucker is a loony.

"Price of 100m euro is not correct. Today his value is closer to 30m euro".
