Some vocal masturbation surrounding Rashford this morning on the radio stations. Have to admit I thought Midgetland were pretty shite, and that the ground was empty, (on account of Memphis having a decent game, Midgetland being shite, and all the empty seats on view) seems I was wrong and it was one of those big big European nights. Fear not however, I have faith in TT to coach any talent out of the lad.

No mention on the BBC's match report, either.

Very strange.

  • Defender Chris Smalling was ruled out earlier on Thursday with a shoulder problem, paving the way for 19-year-old Joe Riley, a substitute in United's FA Cup win at Shrewsbury three days earlier, to make his first senior start.

Martial's injury paved the way for Rashford's debut, but after recovering from falling behind on the night, United scored four times inside the final half hour to pull away.

They could even afford to end the match with another teenage debutant on the pitch in the shape of 17-year-old Regan Poole.

Under-pressure Van Gaal managed a smile at the end after his side scored five in a match for the first time under his control in front of a 58,609 crowd."

Shakhtar Donetsk next round please, second leg away three days before the derby

Any pics of the empty seats?

I feel stupid for asking. Of course they are that stupid. The Rashford w*nkfest was expected. The love for De-pies this morning from reds is incredible. He played against probably the worst full-back ever. The Shrews were bad the other day, but this was another level of bad...

I can't wait for him to be lazy and shit again at weekend, shooting on sight from all angles...
