Although it was a stroke of luck that after his very good running his attempted cross was so poor that the keeper overcommitting to a decent cross made it look like a soft pass into the net.

Which would normally have been a soft pass surrendering the ball to the keeper.

He had some luck tonight with that goal for sure, and knowing United I figured they'd get 2shots on target all night for 2 goals, but that isn't the first time I've watched martial this season and I've gone from thinking United were crazy to thinking he has the ability to be the real deal. There's still plenty of time for United to ruin him though or for him to up and leave to one of the Spanish giants, so I'm counting on that. Plus Memphis turned out to be a complete potato which puts a smile on my face after all the hype he was getting in the media.
