A bit of perspective here, for all the bluster about them being sat in second place lets consider three results.
Injury time winners against Arsenal and Palace and our defeat to them last month, we really should have been out of sight by half time and the other two games could easily have been draws.
That is a 7 point swing, that would have them in 4th place just 4 points above Chelsea who would have a game in hand.
Sure, all ifs and maybe's but it shows how thier season cold have easily been much worse.

Pogpa is unhappy and I doubt anyone will pay him what he is on there. Martial will leave. Sanchez is past it and on ridculous 5 year contract. They have a poor defence only helped by the dognut theif. Matic who they were praising to high heaven after 3 games is simply a bit shit. Fellani will rinse them for 200k a week to stay. Shaw is a whale. Darmien who is shit wants to go to Italy. Valencia and young are old. Carrick retiring. Lindegard is just vile. Their capacity is reducing 2800 next year. The manager lives in a hotel room. The ground is decaying and has dressing room pegs of hough end standard (1990 Hough end). They still have jones and smelling and the two they bought to replace them are always injured and or shit.
Huge rebuild needed and I don’t think they have the money to go absolutely crazy. A pivotal summer.
