Does that mean they are fair weather friends and would be happy watching the rags roll over relegation threatened teams. How many would stick with them if they were ever relegated.I also know one or 2 match going reds and they are well pissed off to the point where they've stopped going to every game. Just like it was under van gaal and moyes....
Flying makes your arms ache and they will need the bus.Just had a look, my god they do have a long way to travel, Leicester and Liverpool, how on earth will they cope, wonder if they'll fly or take the bus?
They'd still get bigger crowds than us if they went down, mate.Does that mean they are fair weather friends and would be happy watching the rags roll over relegation threatened teams. How many would stick with them if they were ever relegated.
I was impling more that the majority of football fans watch their team because it is their team and not because they win week in week out. When Pearce was our manager and the football was shite, we still followed our club. It was torture but he kept us in the league. As we are like a lot of other clubs, we have had our share of relegations and promotions. This had until recently toughened the fans up and we coped with our macabre humour. They'd still get bigger crowds than us if they went down, mate.
Maybe for the first season and selected cup games. They'd still get bigger crowds than us if they went down, mate.
