To be fair to them they said all this when it was only a 12 point gap. It's not just their fans that are fucking deluded beyond belief, then.

Neville seems to have reverted to type after a decent start as a pundit, he's nowhere near as impartial as he was before his Valencia debacle, always blowing smoke up the rags arses and now having a regular pop at Pep or City, he's become a characature of his old rag self ...! Shame as he was shaping up well... Never thought I would hear myself say this but Rio Ferdinand has come on as a pundit, he's one of the best and most impartial out there at the moment..!Can’t confess to watching every game they’ve played this season but I caught most of yesterday’s and, factoring in the opposition, they were piss poor for most of it. Sure, they had a few chances that on another day they might’ve stuck away but their overall play was awful in the main. They did actually put a decent move together on the odd occasion but every team in the division is capable of doing that at some point in a game, yet when they did it in the first half Neville started blowing smoke up their arse as though it was something to get really excited about. I don’t mind him in the main but some of his comments yesterday smacked of desperate straw clutching.
Liverpool and Spurs play football that is far easier on the eye - United look extremely laboured in comparison.
Ha ha ha. They're the one with that odd little creepy bloke who has a child's face, a midlands accent, an armchair season ticket and a huge chip on his shoulder about City. He knows that deep down he only dislikes us because he knows he has no real connection to Manchester or Manchester United and it kills him inside.

Abusing the postman through the letterbox! That one actually made me PMSL - excellent
Howson is a dick, but faced with facts and informed opinion in conversation with Oliver Kay, the dolt finds himself agreeing with the premise that his beloved Utd are clueless corporate arse wipes without a plan, fleecing the fans, and that City and Pep are the dogs bollocks.
For those that can't face an hour of this fool, watch from 21 minutes in to 41 minutes....
Disagree, I think they are more likely going to go down the Real Madrid model - all fur coat no knickers - Marquee signings that don’t generally fit with whoever is managerial flavour of the month. This will win them occasional & probably regular silverware but be nothing like their self entitled expectationsYep, this is the exact scenario I envision. It’s going to get worse for them. They’ll tread water at best until they realize they need a full scale top down rebuild — no marquis manager, no player brands, but young, ambitious, hardworking up and comers —- which might mean a few years out of any trophy hunts, even some time distinctly mid-table while they bed in new recruits and gell.
That assumes they actually DO realize this. I don’t think they will. They’re still on about “Manchester United quality” and all that bullshit as if they are by divine right inherently superior due to their badge. I’m not sure they can afford to break themselves down and start over. As such, it will be glorious to watch them slowly bleed to death.
He's the weapon that got really giddy when some 'news' came out that united were in talks with Guardiola.Howson is a computer game character that someone made when they were pissed and they set the facial sliders too far to the right. True story.
