They'll spend a fortune including overpaying for some of our targets and will be better next season.

We might have post title troubles too :-(

It'll be a new season and we'll just have to see.

Utds doom should be as concerning to them as ours was when we dropped into the old div 3.
Terrible money spent on good but awfully under performing players in most part due to the succession of laughable managers who cannot get the best out of them. As a knock on effect sponsorship and merchandise sales will drop.

I think it was THIS season that was their "Gillingham" year and its not happened.
If the manager and his negativity doesn't go their best players will want to in the summer.

I think they'll keep him though and throw some more money at it because the board are scared of him and have invested a lot and that is even worse than getting rid imo.

LOL.

Who cares anyway, remember Blues and never forget the total indignity and lack of respect they showed us for years and years.

Let's stick it to them.

Its this latter fact - the years we have had to endure - that makes this all the more enjoyable and why I will never, ever go easy on them..........they were such arseholes under the GPC, so completely lacking in magnanimity, that I will gladly set no limits on how I will abuse and mock them - they should have remembered to be nice to people on the way up as when you aren't the descent is painful ----- FUCKING SCUM !

Old Trafford was half empty towards the end of the 80s and this was when they were chucking money round left right and centre on Ince, Webb and Pallister. They will be back to the fan base of Salford, Moston and Wythenshaw.

Told this to a Rag at work. He said it can't be true as they had the highest attendances in the league even when they were in the 2nd Division. Not sure how accurate posted attendance figures would have been in those days.

I’m not sure they had the highest attendances in the country that season, but it was one of the best.

But it wasn’t really a surprise, as they were winning most weeks and, as we know, every glory hunter loves a winning team.

I think that financial success is more important to them than building a team that is totally successful on the field. You may think they are the same thing and given time they may converge but individual stars make them more money than watching stars develop.

This every time - the whole ethos of the club is making money.

hope they continue in this vein and never find the missing pieces of their jigsaw puzzle .

And a Rag would know such things how exactly ?

They had the 2nd highest attendances in seasons ending 89 & 90 and also 93 despite winning their 1st league title for 26 years that year.

They only began to start having the odd highest attendance just before the unprecedented sporting media storm of the Munich disaster season. It became regular highest attendance after the full circle was complete with the 68 EC win.
So 10 years between getting 1st to the top and then domination, with the odd dip.

The yo-yo of the historical figures before is obviously irrelevant, as football didn’t start till 58 or 92....

...The nadir being when you are in the top division and have the 33rd (not 3rd) best attendance.

Thick and thin , not.

This is very true and highlighted by the fact that their attendances in the previous (relegation) season in Division 1 were lower as the rats deserted the sinking ship.

The hilarious thing with these stupid fuckers is they could sort themselves out immediately by just sticking Pogba on the left where he played for Juve and Martial on the right. But this leaves nowhere for the Piano man unless he goes deeper and Pogba won't play on the left where he was actually effective and made his reputation.

If I was the rags manager(thank fuck I'm not) I go with this

.....................De Gea.................
valencia......shit cb.......shit cb......diving twat
...............Mata.....Matic...............
Martial..........Sanchez............Pogba
...................Lukaku..................

How they don't see their best team is unbelievable and they continue to try shoehorn overpaid stars into roles that they don't fit.

Glorious times :-)
