Caught the last half hour last night and my God they are fucking awful, they wont get within 20 points of us next season.

On a positive note, making 2 seperate subs in injury time to protect a 0-0 away at West Ham did give me a chuckle, tactical genius!

How does Smalling stay on the pitch. Last night was like every other game he`s played over the years. Its like he is dancing with a dance partner, his hands are all over the opponent and always allowed to do it by the officials

I'm sure he's the very reason the referees relaxed on that 'groping' rule. He'd be sent off most weeks.

With PEGs tactical nouse, Pep will need to be on his toes next season :)

They are typically dreadful to watch but this is largely due to Mou. Finishing 2nd yet uninspiring play is a hallmark of Mou sides and considering how much more entertaining others in the top 5/6 have been, they will have it no easier next season

Plus, Jose's act always wears thin eventually and he will sooner or later contend with mutiny due to his toxic approach

It will be interesting to see the odds on " first manager to be fired" next season.

Worth putting a few notes on Peg.

A fortunate second and fairly early exit from CL have not pleased the sponsors at all. The turgid football dished out week after week is embarrassing for companies like Nike who want to be associated with success and entertainment.

The club's owners won't tolerate this for much longer and next season it's unlikely that Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs won't overtake them.

So you can bet on Peg

And if they don’t sack him, he’ll just carry on serving up his turgid dross.

Win win!
