I thought that if a Scottish club made the group stages then the pool money was split five ways

Couldn't say for certain, but I don't think so - they're from a different participating country, although I can see why Scotland/England split might be awkward.

This is because they exist.
There is nothing wrong with hating them more today than you did yesterday.

In the case of the UK, Celtic of Scotland is lumped together with teams from the Premier League and receives 10% of the UK market pool.

Fair enough. I haven't found anything definitive in UEFA's name that contradicts that.
